This short course on Lectio Divina will offer practical ways and means to pray with the Scriptures primarily using the ancient tradition of “Lectio Divina.” The course will be taught prayerfully with examples from the lives of the saints. In the spirit of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and other saints, we will explore how to stay very close to our Lady. As Mother Teresa said, “If you do this, you can do great things for God and the good of people.” A reference book that will be used on the retreat will be, Mother Teresa: In the Shadow of Our Lady by Joseph Langford, MC (Our Sunday Visitor).
