Christ comes, but He comes as an agonizing
Christ who must fight. And precisely this will show us what must be
characteristic of the new man: an agonizing man, a man of combat, a man who
does not have an easy road, a comfortable journey. We find the agony of Christ
expressed, even before Gethsemane, along His whole journey. (The New Man)
