Man, besides being an economic and political
reality that needs food, a home, and the protection of his civil rights, is
first and foremost a son of God who has a soul and who is called to the
vocation of maximalism—the vocation of Christian love, which is holiness. Obviously
he has physical and material needs, but his first duty, the one that bathes his
whole life in a unique light, is the need to love God with his whole heart. (The
Revolution of the Samaritans)
