A stone is a poor reality. Christ is a poor reality: He is a Servant. The whole problem of our poverty is basic; if we do not eliminate—at any cost—our ambitions of self-affirmation, pride, and autonomous control; if we do not try to understand that we have to be a poor stone—really, a poor stone—we will not achieve anything.
