Journeying with the Founder Day #179

We can distinguish three phases in the prayer of the Virgin Mary. The first is the one addressed to the Father, in which the angel of the annunciation finds her. The second is the Christological phase in which dialogue with the Son unfolds in contemplation during the time of waiting, in the simple life of Nazareth, in her daily, humble recollected service. In the third phase she is associated with the public life of Jesus. This is her moment of service to the brethren, to the mystery of salvation. (Prayer)
