Interior life and prayer are not realities that can be improvised. They presuppose a long and patient work of training and collaboration of the intellect, heart, will, passions, memory, fantasy, and feelings. The most profound interior intuitions and the moments of greater intimacy and fusion with the Lord have always grown in a climate of quiet and peace. (Prayer)
