The infinite has become finite, has become poverty, and He wants us to choose poverty, too. Let us reach a synthesis: God, who is infinite, wants to give Himself but can only give Himself to one who is empty, that is to one who is capable of receiving God. Poverty or emptiness is the condition for the Infinite—God—to fill this emptiness. (The Rock)
