Quote of the Day

Adam knows that he is loved; he knows that he has been

created for love, and so he loves in return Him Who is the

source of love. In this response of love by man toward God,

it seems we can discern a marvelous and mysterious echo

of Trinitarian love. Rather, one may affirm that in this repetition,

this finite multiplication of the infinite Trinitarian

love, the primary reason for the creation of all the cosmos

and of man in particular is found

We are created out of love and for love. To be invited by God to participate in His perfect, infinite, Trinitarian love is quite astounding--His love for us is so great as to make this participation in His love possible. We have no power to do this ourselves; He is the only reason this is possible. From existing at all to having the ability to love and everything in between is all His gift.
