William (Bill) Logue Dec. 30 2006-Dec.30-2007 Our own "Saint in the Making"

My Mother, My Confidence!
Servant of God, Bishop William Giaquinta, pray for us!

Dear Jackie and Family,

Today, December 30, 2007 we think of you all and especially our "saint" in heaven, Bill. He was your dear husband, your children's beloved father, fine son of his parents and dear, dear friend to many, especially for those of us in the Pro Sanctity Family. We miss him terribly, but thank God we have his memory and even more, we have a deep awareness that our Founder interceded for him and that God willing he is already enjoying the view from heaven! He is closer to us now than he has ever been.

Jackie, it is still hard for us and even harder for you and the kids. We unite ourselves to you and to your children in prayer and spirit. May our Lady of Confidence fill your hearts with her trust, especially in the dark moments.

Much love and prayers, Teresa Monaghen and the Pro Sanctity Family

I ask all our readers to unite with me in prayer and send a note to this blog and we will send it on, or go to Jackie's blog and post it there.

Into the hillside country Mary went Carrying Christ, and all along the road. The Christ she carried generously bestowed His grace on those she met. She had not meant to tell she carried Christ. She was content to hide His love for her. But about her glowed such a joy that into stony hearts love flowed. And even to the unborn John, Christ's grace was sent. May this same Spirit of Christ be with your family this season and may the love from your husband and father come down from heaven and fill your life with peace.. Terpls

Dearest Logues,

I am filled with gratitude as I think of the great gift your family is to me and Pro Sanctity. I remember the first time I saw your family - Bill and Jackie with the kids at daily Mass when I was on silent retreat in Brookings. Your friendship is such a grace. Today I remember the beautiful trust of Bill in the intercession of our Founder and in the Providence of the Father. Our hearts are filled with sorrow for your loss and ours, serenity and trust that God's love will triumph, gratitude for Bill's beautiful life, and joyous anticipation in the glory that is to be revealed!

I continue to be filled with amazement at each of you children - Jacob, Hannah, Hope, Marielle, Madeleine. I am so grateful to you for sharing your dad with us so generously. Trust that he is still there to help you with everything you need. You are beautiful!

Much love and prayers, Jessi

Dearest Logue Family,
As we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family, how can we help but think of you all? Each one of you is a beautiful icon of our Lord, and we're grateful to you for your witness. We don't want all the giving to be From you, though, so we keep you in our prayers, and we offer you whatever you need from us in other ways as well. Just let us know; we want to always "be there" for you.
Dear Bill, pray for us!
Love,
Tom and Rita Hejkal

On the Feast of the Holy Family, we celebrate the love between Mary and Joseph and Jesus. Thank you Louges for being a reflection of that family. Thank you for the love and witness that you share among yourselves and with all of us! Please know that your "extended family" is close and praying for you all.

Dear Logues,

May Our Blessed Mother strengthen you for the journey into 2008. I "met" you as a family when I saw you on a television program and was edified to know that you are of the Pro Sanctity family. Let us all be "God-bearers" as Bill was and you continue to be.

Blessings to you...

Thank you, dear Pro Sanctity Family, for your generous thoughts and prayers for our family as we grieved all the firsts this year but especially the first anniversary of Bill's death. We have been deeply comforted by the Holy Family and all the other holy families that God has put in our lives to help us face this unbelieveable reality, Bill leading us silently toward home from his place with God.

It's the emptiness and longing his absence creates in our hearts that puts us more firmly on the path.

Thank you for encouraging us with the reminders that we are not alone in missing him or in our hope that something greater is open to us now.
Bill Logue, Pray for us.

Love,
Jackie and Children

Also...we just realized this year that not only did he pass away on Teresa M's Birthday but that he also shares the same birthday as Leela!

He would have been celebrating his 40th as Leela was celebrating her 50th!

Somehow these admitedly small coincidences bring me to a deeper sense of our place in the Pro Sanctity Family.

God bless you, dear Brothers and Sisters.
