The greatest among you
must be your servant. Whoever exalts
himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
Jesus was the clearest
example of the humble servant. He
washed the disciples feet at the last supper and told us as His followers we
should do the same. Going back to the
readings on Ash Wednesday, much of what we do for God should be in secret.
Lord teach me to be
aware of my words and actions toward others.
Show me ways to humbly serve and to give all the credit to You.
